What age range is this service for?
By PikLuk_Team at 02/07/2008 12:29 AM
Although our intentions were to provide this service to parents of children between 3 and 9, kids who are in their preteen years also find it useful. Of course, you are the best judge of what your child will feel comfortable using. We encourage your comments if you think there is anything we can do to make the service better.

I have both my 5 and 11 year old using PikLuk. We love the safety features of both the Internet browser system and the email. My 11 year old, however, is wanting another email as pikluk does not let her use emotiocons, spell check, and other fun text changing features (color/font). Any chance these options are coming in the future?

I made an error. Sorry. She just informed me that you can change colors and font. Not the problem for her. Wants to be able to spell check, add emotiocons, and open attachments sent by approved email addresses.

It would be great to have a spell check for the kids….its a great learning process too. Perhaps a tool that will help the kids become better spellers :)

Look for new upcoming features that will include some of these requests. We’ll notify everyone when these features are ready to use. You won’t need to upgrade.
